I have taken the opportunity with the recent run up in UOB Kayhian to dispose of both mine and wifey’s holdings (left 23 and 18 odd shares). It has taken me more than 10 years to turn a profit on this stock. Along the way, we have collected dividends of more than 5% per year on average. Not fantastic but decent.
Overall am happy with the sale. Sold over a few tranches from $1.69, $1.72, $1.75 and $1.76. Overall, profit of about $1,680 for me and $3,410 for the wifey. Will redeploy the capital to other stocks to average down or take advantage of any dips. For now it’s going into the War Chest.
Chart is overbought but still trending up though. Only time will tell if I had made a wise decision to sell.
